A 26-week course for foreign students intending to study at Brno University of Technology (or other Czech universities) via tuition in Czech, with the same status as Czech students, i.e. free of charge.
The ICFF course is organized by the Institute of Social Sciences at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology.
The Institute has a more than 30-year tradition of teaching Czech to foreigners. Such courses are taught by qualified Czech native speakers – teachers of English, German, Spanish, Russian and French who are, therefore, able to provide extra language support in class if needed. All the teachers greatly benefit from their long-term experience in language teaching and apply the same proven methodology and didactic approaches both to Czech and the other foreign languages they teach.
The aim of the intensive language course (352 lessons) is for students to acquire, practise and increase their comprehension and communication skills in the Czech language from A0 level (beginner) to B1 level (intermediate – the level required for university study in Czech) in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The course starts on 1st October 2013 and ends on 23rd May 2014.
